Most people put little thought into what they use as a license frame, and I guess that I see the logic in this. I mean, your clothes are important, your house is important, the car that you drive is, arguably, important, but beyond that, how much do you have to care about all of the little touches of self expression. You don't really at all, most people believe, and so they go with whatever license plate frames their auto dealer gave to them in the first place. This is good news for the dealer, but I think that it represents a missed opportunity.
For me, the license frame on my car is just as important as the pin on my tie. If you want to be successful, you have to dress for success. That does not just me dressing your physical person, but also making sure that your possessions look as spiffy as possible all the time. A good license frame can provide that special touch that indicates to others what you are: a confident man or woman who really cares what type of impression he or she makes on those around him or her.
My license frame is simple and elegant, which is my taste. I do not really need to show my extravagance with a lot of elaborate designs. My plain, shiny chrome license frame does enough to show where I am coming from and what I am about. It says something about me: I am confident. I am meticulous, and yet am thoroughly at ease in the world. And this is perhaps the best message that I can give to friends and associates to let them know that they can trust me. And, although the license frame may not be what people consciously remember, it is one of those little touches which will earn me subconscious recognition. People will remember that I am the type of guy who can be trusted to take care of each and every detail. Not just the most glaring ones. I have that chrome license frame on my car for the same reason that I keep my paint touched up and do not let my kids put on bumper stickers,except for the one that says proud parent of a DARE graduate. It is because, if you are a successful and driven person, your car is a symbol of your status, your greatness in the world. So whatever that symbol is saying, it is saying directly about you.
