traffic violation 03 by Article Announcement

I can't count the number of times I've had friends or family members tell me that they hate cops or state troopers. Now why do you suppose this is? Go ahead, take a wild guess. If you guessed it's because they've been pulled over for a routine traffic violation here and there, then you'd be correct. People as a whole hate this. It's pretty much all they think about when it comes to law enforcement officers. After all, it's typically the only time they ever encounter them. We all see them when we're speeding or "accidentally" run a red light. Emphasis on the accidentally. The first thing that runs through my head is "Doesn't this guy have something better to do?" The last thing I want is another stinking ticket.
Often we end up in a court room for our routine traffic violations. As opposed to sending in the fine money, we show up on the court date and attempt to get it lowered. I have done this exactly once in my life. Back when I was 19, I acquired a standard traffic violation for speeding. It was one of those speed traps. You know the kind. It's 65 and you're sailing down the interstate, then suddenly it's 55, but you missed the sign. A trooper is unfortunately sitting along the road-side with his radar gun, just waiting to catch some speeders. I wouldn't be surprised if got 50 in a single day's time. Any who, I showed up on my court date and spoke with the judge for a brief moment, and to my surprise, she was a stellar lady indeed. She was as benign and pleasant as I could possibly hope for. I was stoked when she told me the first traffic violation would not go on my record, and I would only have to pay for the ticket and court costs. I guess showing up in court can definitely help. So much depends on the judge and the kind of day they're having.
Find out about any traffic violation you please on the Internet. Check out the severity and penalties involved. I do know that a major one is passing a stopped school bus. It can tack like five points onto your license. Plus, it's a terrible idea in the first place. Children are crossing the road. Stay alert and cautious when you drive. Avoid that next traffic violation if you can. It'll do wonders for your insurance.
